broken dreams swept to the heart
lovers faith fell apart
bittersweet melodies flew
heard by passions of love and blue
love hid beyond
the mask of happiness and glee;
yet all that was felt deep inside
were pain and misery
beating hearts filled with anger
confusion reigned in the court of jesters
but the truth lied deep inside
i felt pain i can't hide.
